I am an Artist, Graphic Designer, Illustrator, Storyteller and Creative and Marketing Director from Boulder, CO.

Hello! I’m Esme O’Rourke, an artist, graphic designer, illustrator, and creative/marketing director based in Boulder, CO. I earned my Bachelor of Arts where I majored in both Studio Art and Graphic Design in May 2024. During my time at Augustana College, I served as the Marketing Director and lead Graphic Designer for the Office of Student Life, and I was also responsible for marketing and branding for SloughFest 2024, Augustana’s annual music festival. In recognition of my three years of dedicated service with the Office of Student Life, I was honored with the Above and Beyond Award in May 2024.

I have been a commissioned artist since 2015. My work spans across various fields including illustration, branding, photography, and fine art across different mediums. My latest illustration project is my debut children’s book titled Rafi Feels Different, written by my lifelong friend, Joelle McDonald, coming out in December of 2024. I am currently in the Disney College Program in Walt Disney World working in Entertainment Costuming in Animal Kingdom.
